Cedar Island Candles and Wax Melts are hand poured in small batches and made with all-natural Coconut Soy Wax. Our waxes are gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free and come from renewable sources. Coconut Soy wax gives your candle a creamy white glow that burns longer than traditional waxes all awhile emitting an amazingly strong fragrant scent. We use natural wood wicks that enhance your candle burning experience.
Our Room & Linen Sprays, Diffusers, and Hand Soaps are a wonderful complement to our wax products, fill the room with a quick burst of your favorite scent. They are made from a 100% bio-degradable, plant-based, and toxin free formulas.
ABOUT US
The mission of Cedar Island Candle Co is to provide clean burning luxury candles made from all-natural ingredients that are not only safe but aesthetically pleasing. We craft hand poured custom candles, wax melts, room & linen sprays, diffusers, and hand soaps that will turn any room into your sanctuary.
Cedar Island Candle Co was created in the kitchen of my home located in Clinton CT. I am an avid lover of candles; the flame is soothing, and the fragrance invokes a sense of happiness. I was always leery of the candles that I purchased from the big retailers. The chemicals and dyes left an un-natural feel that I feared was not safe for my family. I knew I could make my own all-natural candles. Which led to something bigger, a company I am proud of.
Why the name Cedar Island and the Anchor logo? Cedar Island is located just off of the Clinton shoreline in Long Island Sound. It is know for its harbor, marina, fishing, beaches and maritime history. The phrase "Clinton - Anchored on the sound since 1663" has both nautical and symbolic meaning to the town, highlighting its heritage and long history as a coastal community.
